Career
This is not a CV. It is what I built, for whom, and how each chapter ended.
Late 1990s to 2003
Before it was a job
The internet arrived at home on a dial-up modem. Nobody taught me HTML. I opened pages, read their source and changed things until they broke.
Electronics came from a book, with PIC assembly as the first language I would call real. Then Basic, Pascal, and PHP, the last one from strangers on the internet who were kind enough to answer questions.
2003 to 2011
Freelance
My first paid job was a website in PHP, at fourteen. The years after were whatever someone needed: a lottery number generator in Basic, a dating site, automation software for factories and the hardware to go with it, software for Windows Mobile handheld terminals.
From 2011
An agency and a first startup
My first full-time job was at Adajans in Eskişehir, building websites for local companies.
Then came Yiploca, a startup for ordering in restaurants, online and at the table, with a food competition built on social profiles. I wrote all of its software. It closed when the partners went separate ways.
2014 to 2017
Teaching
I taught Ruby 101 at the Akademik Bilişim winter camp four years running, and Ruby on Rails at the Linux summer camp in 2017. Both camps are free to attend. About 150 students in total. The first year’s course material is still on GitHub.
2016 to 2019
Fabrika Medya and Teleskop
At Fabrika Medya in Ankara I was senior engineer and team lead, building software for public bodies and private companies. That included the official sites of the Ministry of Transport and of BTK, the telecom regulator. Some of the work is under NDA, so that is all I will say about it.
The owner had a second company, and from 2018 I was its founding engineer. Teleskop was a media-intelligence service: it crawled Turkish-language news sites, forums and social media in near real time and reported new content to its customers within fifteen minutes. I built the first version alone in about two months. The team then grew to six, and we added sentiment analysis.
2020 to 2024
Blockchain
First as development team lead at Q Teknoloji in Istanbul, an agency building software for blockchain companies around the world. This is where smart contracts entered the picture.
Then three and a half years as CTO of Bixos, a US-based blockchain company, with about fifty people across several teams. We shipped a real-estate tokenization platform, a payments layer called BixPay, a way to turn property into NFTs, and a blockchain game.
2024 to 2025
Farm Clicker
I co-founded Clicker Games Studio with Faruk Arıgün and ran it with him as co-CEO. We built Farm Clicker, an idle game that lived inside Telegram, on the TON blockchain.
In its best month 250,000 people opened the game, and about 400,000 registered in total. For a long stretch it sat among the ten biggest games on TON. On one ordinary day in March 2025 the backend, running on Cloudflare, served 1.76 million requests with no errors and a median CPU time of 1.1 milliseconds.
We went through the AlphaStage accelerator in Istanbul and pitched in Dubai, which is where the hat got its reputation. We did not find an investor. When the money ran out, we closed it.
2025
Bcore
A CRM that lives in Telegram, for blockchain teams who meet three hundred people at an event and cannot remember afterwards who was who. I built the first working version alone in about a month.
The product stopped there. The AI we had built to run our own company did not: it is where TekTık Asistan comes from.
2025 to now
Tektik
Faruk and I registered TekTık Yazılım in Istanbul in April 2025, half each. Its main product is TekTık Asistan, an assistant that does a small company’s office work from inside WhatsApp and Telegram. The second is policeler.in, which lets insurance agencies share policies with their customers.
The assistant is in beta with several companies in Turkey, and a first pilot in the UK is running. Turkey is a small market for this, so abroad is where it is headed.

Now
If you are thinking of writing
Write. Tektik is my main work, but a good offer gets a serious answer, and I have never turned a problem down for being too hard.
You do not need an offer, either. If you are stuck on something, or want to know how I would build it, ask.
